A Year in Review - Dog and Pet Photography in Southern Ontario

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

I had the pleasure of doing a record number of sessions in 2024, including pregnancy announcements, end of life sessions, and everything in between. I’ve travelled all around Southern Ontario to work with some amazing owners, pets, and businesses, and truly consider myself lucky to have such an amazing career that feeds my soul as well as my family. As I look back on the year, here are some highlights from 2024.

One of my most memorable sessions was a pregnancy announcement. It fills me with joy to be surrounded by people who include their dogs in such momentous life events. After all, dogs are family.

“What to Expect When Your Humans Are Expecting” and “How to Get Double The Treats When Mommy and Daddy Bring Home Baby” are essential reading material after you learn there will soon be a new little one in the house.

I also had the honour of working with many senior dogs, similar to Kajtek (pictured below), and providing their owners with a memorable keepsake to enjoy for many years to come.

Kajtek, the handsome 12 year old Cockapoo enjoyed his beautiful fall session in Burlington, Ontario in October 2024.

When I wasn’t working with all of my amazing clients, I volunteered my photography services to rescue organizations, building adoption profiles for dogs like Toba and Axel (below) who were looking for their furever home.

Husky, rescue dog. Dog photography in Oakville, Ontario.

Toba, a stunning husky, was rescued from Northern Ontario and brought to Oakville in hopes to find a new home. His wish came true in November when he was adopted into his forever family.

Husky Malamute mix puppy. Rescue dog in Milton, Ontario.

Axel, the stunning husky malamute mix, is another rescue puppy from northern Ontario, brought to Milton and was adopted into in furever home in August.

In addition to client photography sessions and creating rescue dog adoption profile photos, I also had the opportunity to help a few businesses with corporate brand images for their websites.

Hudson, the sophisticated golden retriever, met me in Campbellville, Ontario as part of a corporate photo shoot for a non-profit organization’s website.

Shiloh Shepherd in a sunflower field. Sunflower dog photography. Erin, Ontario.

Bane was a stellar model in the sunflower field. His photographs are now proudly displayed on his owner’s dog business website.

Wow! What a busy yet satisfying year. Thank you to all my clients and supporters for helping make this all happen. I’m jumping into 2025 with plans for more growth and even more awesome dog photographs.
