The Process

Contact me to schedule your consultation. We will discuss your pet’s specific details and what your goals are for the session. If your pet has any special needs, does any tricks or has unique traits that you would like photographed please let me know during this initial consultation.
We will also discuss the print and artwork options and design a plan to create everything you are looking to get out of your experience.
Once you are ready to book, we will also discuss location options and schedule a date and time.

On the session date we will take some time to introduce your pet to the location, equipment and myself before we begin. This helps ensure everyone is comfortable and ready to get to work.
I will guide you through the session and provide you with tips and advice to help create your desired images.
Then, simply relax, have fun and enjoy the experience. Your dog does not need to be perfectly behaved, or be the perfect model. We will follow their lead and let them be their perfectly imperfect self.

Within three weeks after your session we will get together once again for your image reveal and ordering consultation.
You will have a chance a to see various artwork product samples as well as size samples so you get a real look and feel for what best suits your space and decor.
This is when you will purchase your prints, images and artwork.

Get scenic outdoor portraits with the Classic Experience
The ideal session for creating stunning artwork for your beloved pet. A scenic outdoor location will be selected to perfectly match your preferred style and the personality of your pet. We will capture a variety of scenes and poses within the chosen location. The Classic Experience is great for all pets and people from one household..
Includes:
Pre-session consultation
Detailed custom plan designed specifically for your session
Your choice of outdoor location
Private proofing gallery with 30+ proof images to choose from
Post-session image reveal and ordering consultation
A retainer of $450 is required to reserve your session date. The entire retainer fee will be applied directly towards your chosen images and artwork purchases.

Studio and Outdoor Portraits For your Very Important Pet!
The VIP Experience includes the best of everything. Capture a variety of images in multiple locations, scenes and styles for all your pets and their people. This sessions typically includes both studio and outdoor images, however two outdoor locations or two studio backdrops can be accommodated if that’s what suits your pet(s) the best.
The VIP Experience includes:
Pre-session consultation
Detailed custom plan designed specifically for your session
Your choice of 2 locations/styles (i.e. studio and outdoors)
50+ proof images to choose from
Post-session image reveal and ordering consultation
A retainer of $600 is required to reserve your session date. The entire retainer fee will be applied directly towards your chosen image and artwork purchases.

Watch your new puppy grow!
Get 3 sessions, spaced out over the course of a year, perfect for documenting the growth of your new puppy, or capturing your pet’s character throughout the seasons. The Year in the Life Session includes multiple settings for all pets and people in one household.
The First Year Session includes:
Pre-session consultation
Detailed custom plan for your sessions
Three sessions, one every 4 months
Photography for all pet and people in one household
Private proofing gallery with 90+ proof images to choose from (30 per session)
Three post session image reveals and ordering consultations to select your artwork and prints
A retainer of $400 is required to reserve each of your three session dates ($1,200 total). The entirety of all retainer fees will be applied directly towards your chosen image and artwork purchases.
No session fees! A retainer is required to reserve your session date, however, this retainer amount is applied directly towards your artwork, print and image purchase. Clients typically chose to invest between $500 - $5000 in their custom artwork.
Memorial Sessions
End of Life, Rainbow Bridge, Memorial Session
However you phrase it, your pet’s final photography session will be the hardest. As a member of Pet Memorial Photographers, I’m here to help. Only purchase the images you absolutely love, with no session fee and priority scheduling for time sensitive cases.
Session Tips
Follow these tips to get the most out of your Doggy Did It pet photography experience.
If necessary, have your dog groomed within a week or so before the session
Have a few of your pet’s favourite treats handy, in case a little encouragement is needed
Bring any toys or props required for any special tricks you would like photographed
Choose a location that your pet is familiar with; they will be more relaxed and your photos will look more natural
Studio sessions do best in a room with a hard floor surface (no carpet), with a clear space of at least 8x10 feet
